It may be four months away but preparation for the 40th North Downs Walk is already underway.Our thanks to Vegware who have delivered the food containers for the after walk ploughman’s lunch.
Vegware provide compostable, plant based lunch boxes, cups and cutlery, that help us to feed the walkers and volunteers with minimal environmental impact.
The 2024 RC Weald of Kent’s North Downs Walk raised £ 24,000 for charities, of which nearly £17,000 was for the Club’s nominated charity, Cancer Research UK.
The 2025 Walk, the 40th, is taking place on 8th June 2025.
We are seeking volunteers to cover a number of roles::
- Outdoors
- Route Marshals
- Checkpoint Marshals
- Car Park Marshals
- Inside the Hall
- Check-in desks
- catering

Registration for walkers will open on 1st March 2025
50% of funds raised by participants is donated to CRUK, the remainder to a charity of the walker’s choice.
