Tonight we celebrated a new Rotary year. Part of this process is the transition to a new president and president elect.
Duncan Payne has handed the helm to president-elect and former Treasurer Geoff Haffenden. At hand over Duncan gave thanks to all those members and volunteers who had helped him deliver a fantastic presidency and it was “great to hand over to Geoff, knowing the club will be in safe hands“.
In tern Geoff as the new president welcomed Neil Denbow to president-elect for 2023-4.
Our guest speaker for the evening was Tanith Brown from The Big Cat Sanctuary. Tanith enthusiastically delivered an engaging and interesting presentation about the history and works of this conservation organisation.
