Many of us have old bicycles and old tools cluttering up the garage or garden shed. Weald of Kent Rotary teamed up with two charities, Re-Cycle and Tools With a Mission to collect bikes and tools from people in and around Headcorn, which the charities will recondition and deliver to communities in Africa where they will be, literally, life-changing. The collection was amazingly successful, yielding over 50 bikes and two vanloads of tools. Something to repeat at another venue next year.
