Every year we hold a fish and chip supper for charity. Being a few months in to Russia’s war on Ukraine we decided to support Ukrainian families arriving in the weald of Kent and also medical and housing supplies to those still at home.
Our guest speaker was Ivan Alekseichuk who grew up in Ukraine but moved to the UK with work a few years ago. Ivan delivered and entertaining and interesting talk about his home land. By the end of the evening over £1,000 had been raised.
