The 2012 Cancer research UK Charity walk will be held on the 1st July 2012.

We are aiming to support Cancer Research UK, other charities including any registered charities selected by you. Your own and earned contributions will be formally collected and accounted for by us.

Two walks are offered, both starting and finishing at Harrietsham Village Hall (see Map). Both walks ascend the North Downs Ridge gently to give superb views of The Weald, woodlands, natural vegetation and birds etc. The shorter 5 Mile (8Km) walk returns via a circular route to Harrietsham. The longer 9.5 Mile (15Km) route takes you further across the Downs 'plateau' giving additional spectacular views of the Medway and Thames River Estuaries, and even Essex including Southend on a clear day.

All walking is on established footpaths which will be monitored during the walking period by volunteers to offer help if required.

On your return to Harrietsham registered walkers will enjoy a free snack and refreshments before leaving on their merry and exercised ways.
