The North Downs Walk 2017

Join us on Sunday 11th June 2017.....

..... to take part in our annual charity walk, raising money for national and local causes.

-

Our last walk was held on the Sunday 19th June 2016 and was a great success.

We had in excess of 370 walkers and we presented a cheque to Cancer Research UK for £17,652.

We will look forward to seeing you on the 11th June 2017

-

There is something for everyone. Choose between the 1, 3, 6 and 9 mile routes available.

-

The 1 mile route, introduced this year offers participants a route across level ground, on a firm surface and therefore suitable to younger and older participants alike.

All routes take you through picturesque Kentish Countryside, are fully marshalled and there are regular refreshment points as you go. Your health and safety is paramount and first aid is available on the day, so you will be well looked after and in safe hands.

-

This event not only supports our chosen charity, but uniquely allows all walkers to retain 50% of their sponsorship to donate to a charity of their choice, meaning more worthy causes benefit from this event. So if you have an affiliation with a charity or are part of a club, group or organisation, take part in this expertly organised event and allow your chosen causes to benefit at the same time.

-

The walk starts anytime between 8.00am and 11.am.

All participants will receive a well-deserved free ploughman’s and punnet of strawberries as they finish, whilst being entertained by a wonderful Jazz band.

-

Each year all the highest achieving walkers are honoured at a special awards evening held in November at the Weald of Kent Golf Club, to thank them for their amazing support. So enter today to make sure you are in with a chance of being rewarded and recognised for your fantastic fundraising efforts!
